FG+G Website

FG+G is a premier law firm with multiple branches throughout the state of Ohio whose primary focus is civil rights and criminal defense. They have taken on numerous cases which received national media attention, and several of its partners have brought cases before the United States Supreme Court. The firm wanted a clean, streamlined look for their website that reflected the gravity of their work with minimal visual distractions. The typography was a crucial part of the design process. After numerous iterations and fine-tuning, we settled on a combination of a bold, modern sans serif and a timeless, elegant serif. The styling reflects the firm’s relentless pursuit of justice while maintaining the level of integrity expected from a team whose outcomes often set precedents that shape our democracy. The final result was a website reminiscent of a newspaper, with stylish type offset by carefully employed visual elements allowing FG+G’s cases and opinions to take center stage.
